Lighting Designs

Ever since my first official design in 2018, I have lighting designed fifteen fully realized productions. As a lighting designer, I find value in the use of shadows in my work. In the same way we can’t take the joy in our life for granted, I believe we should not take lighting for granted. Lighting has the power to influence how we want the audience to feel by supporting the emotional journeys of the characters on stage. I support these emotions through the use of shadows to demonstrate how desperately we want to cling to the light and how easily we are affected when things get dark.
