About ME

I am a theatre designer, educator, and performer currently based in Winchester, Virginia as the lighting shop manager, designer, and instructor at Shenandoah University. I earned an MFA in Design from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 20214 and a BA in Theatre Arts from Furman University in 2020.

Above all, I value the community of theatre. It drew me to theatre in high school and is the driving force of my projects to this day. When creating works of theatre, the process is just as important as the product. Therefore, I encourage positive working environments that allow the art to develop by emphasizing the value of empathetic communication.

While not in the theatre or the classroom, I am typically hanging with my dog Coco, practicing juggling, or replaying a Legend of Zelda game.

Upcoming: I am the lighting designer for Shenandoah University’s upcoming production of The Seagull.
